JUST ENJOY THE SHOW

Dearest students,

Today, in the afternoon minutes before Zuhr, the sun is hot just like a giant spotlight. I've received such responses from 3D students who were tired due to their sport practice and intolerable hot weather. (Okay guys, I love your attempt at using Lenka's lyric in your English conversation which indicates minutes we spend singing the song in class is fruitful.) Such a scorching hot weather is capable of killing 3D's enthusiasm to learn and to do all the tasks assigned. I could see many sleepy heads were about to land their already heavy head onto the desk. The well-known Redang Islander was getting restless so in an attempt to avoid himself from sleeping while teacher was teaching, he asked for permission to go to the toilet. Sopi, normally active in class, suddenly fell into deep silence during today's class.

However, I could see something in all of you which excites me and gives me hope in the midst of the school life full of unrequited tasks. I do as a human, dislike some of the tasks assigned to me (but then just enjoy the show!). I love to see all of you, despite the tiredness and the hot weather, tried the best forcing yourself to accomplish the writing task in a manner as good as possible. It was fun seeing you all doing the work. The sleepy heads turned to heads with an active brains searching and brainstorming for ideas! Love to entertain your curiousity!

Well, you may not be used to writing regularly but I hope to turn this activity into something that you really enjoy and I do think it's impossible looking at how passionate most of you to finish the writing entitled 'If I won 10,000 dollars.' Okay some of you have come up with many way too creative ideas like opening a chalet/restaurant in Redang Island, travelling around the world, marrying me LOL and etc. but that is the most important thing in writing, to think out of the box! Bear in mind though that scholars ease their tensions/stress by writing, So all of you can do the same as well.

Paolo Coehlo said that the best allies (for those who want to be good writers) are those who don't think like others. And to add more he also said, "Your allies will not necessarily be those that everyone looks on with admiration and says: “there’s nobody better”. It’s very much the opposite: it’s people who are not afraid of making mistakes, and yet they do make mistakes. That is why their work is not always recognized. But that’s the type of people who change the world, and after many mistakes they manage to get something right that will make all the difference in their community."

So dear students never give up in writing and keep improving yourself from time to time as through writing you can change the world. Remember, be the change you want to see.
Miss Farah just can't wait to see you write again next week :)
